Daily Botanical: Dragonfly
I photographed this dragonfly hanging out with the cucumbers at my community garden plot exactly one year ago and wouldn’t you know it I saw one at the garden again just the other day. This must be their season because I have not seen one for the entire year between.

Wish I had cukes that were SO bright green and healthy… mine tried, and one is still bravely trying, but mostly, they’ve given up for the year already. Are yours that stunning again this year???

amazing. i’ve never seen one sit still long enough (usually they helicopter zoom by too fast)
