Daily Botanical: Tomato Seedlings

I took this photo while visiting a gorgeous greenhouse last month in Austin, Texas. My own little tomato plants aren’t quite this big but have reached the two sets of true leaves mark and are starting to smell wonderful.

You were in Austin and you didn’t stop by to say hi? I bet more than one Austin Garden Blogger would have found time to have lunch with you–or at least grab some coffee and a short chat.
Next time.

I’m more shy than people realize. I’m not really comfortable inviting myself when I don’t know people. Next time I will be less timid.

I noticed on the GreenMinds site that you will be in San Francisco this spring. If you have a chance, visit the Half Moon Bay Nursery on hwy 92 just south of SF, nearly my favorite place on the planet- awesome plants in a relaxed and natural setting.

Meg: I will actually be there THIS WEEK! I very much wish we were able to go to Half Moon Bay period but alas neither of have a license to drive.
