Siftin’ for Gold
Some how we missed spring here in the Piedmont of North Carolina. The cool breezy afternoons have passed us over, and we went from weather in the 30’s to weather in the 80’s. What is a girl to do?
I say its time to put some funk into my yard so its ready for cooking out with friends, and drinkin’ lemonades spiked with memories of bygone days (among other things)! But those bygone days have dwindled the bank reserve a bit, so the hunt for new memories calls for extra thrifty thrifting, and where is an amazing place to go for that? Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, of course.
First things first: Pick up your copy of You Grow Girl, read through and jot down your inspired ideas. Start thinking of bicycles as trellises and gaudy trash cans as planters then get on the web and find the ReStore closest to you and out the door to pan for thrift store gold!

Oh! There’s a Restore not far from us here in Ontario, too. Good call!
