Month of excitement
Yeah, well, here we are in September already. So what's been going on in my neck of the woods you wonder? Let me fill you in on my month of excitement.
1. I cut back some lantana that was taking over one of my beds.
2. I wanted to cut back some of the Mexican heather, but the bees won't let me.
3. I pulled up some dead verbena.
4. I cut back some of the skull cap that had grown over the sprinkler.
5. I still haven't seen what a 4 o'clock looks like fully opened. I do have a million seeds, though.
6. I re-staked the zinnias that fell over before my husband mows them down.
7. I re-hung a hanging half-dead pot of petunias that I took down while we put up our awning.
8. I don't remember.
9. I moved some potted plants from the front porch to the back patio.
10. I still have some tomato plants that I have ignored completely. One even had two buds on it, but they fell off when I looked at them today. I must of scared them.
I am getting ready to gear up for some fall planting, so stay tuned for more excitement.
Oh, and...
11. I am extremely jealous of Gayla's tomatoes!
