I'm thirsty
This morning I noticed that my zebra plant had fainted. It was completely toppled over and rubbery. I only wish I had taken a picture of it before I watered it as it was pretty funny. Well, to me, that is. I'm sure my plant didn't think so. But after a few doses of water, it's as perky and stiff as can be. That sounded kind of sexual, didn't it? Don't any of you pervs with plant fetishes be emailing me now.
Today I bought a coffee plant for myself at Lowe's. My friend wanted a snake plant so I got her one for her birthday. I was really tempted to buy a bunch of cacti. They had some different kinds that I've never seen before that had this dried flower looking flower on top. Upon closer inspection, I'm not so sure they weren't glued on. The flowers were purple, blue, red, yellow, etc. A lot of them fell off and the ones that were still attached had this clear stuff around the bottom of them, which is why I think they were glued on with rubber cement. Someone go to Lowe's and see if they have them there and let me know what you think. Anyway, I was good and that's all I got so I was only $10 poorer.
I've been neglecting my vines on the dead ficus tree. Mainly because I'm too lazy to drag the hose to the backyard and water it. Besides most of the morning glories have gone to seed, so why bother. Now I'm attempting to grow crepe myrtle, lantana and chasteberry from seed. Well, I haven't received the chasteberry yet in my seed exchange with Laurel on the forums. But when I do.... I also took some cuttings from my neighbors hibiscus and if I'm lucky, they'll grow roots.
I did a lot of name dropping in this entry, huh? Now y'all go out and do your homework at Lowe's.
