Finally, Rain.
It looks like we aren't going to have an Autumn (or Fall as some call the season between Summer and Winter) here in Melbourne. After all my worries about my garden drying out, as soon as the calendar page flipped over from February to March the rains came big time. Since then we have been having full on rain almost every day.
My tomatos are going berserk. I don't have any stakes so a trip to the nursery to buy some is definitely on the 'to-do' list. They are sprawling all over the path and everywhere and are full of little green cherrys. I just hope we get enough sun now for them to ripen.
I have a glut of chillies and am not really sure what to use them for, I don't eat that many chillies. Maybe I need to start looking up some recipes.
It will be interesting to see what actually pops up over the next few weeks. Already some plants that I thought were definitely done for have started putting out optimistic little shoots so who knows?
