Moving the Garden
I have spent the past week moving and didn't realise just how many pot plants I had until I started moving them. Luckily most of my plants were in pots - when I moved last year I had most of my plants in the garden and had to uproot them all with varying success. The only plants I had to dig up this time around were a bunch of irises which I hope will survive the moving process. I also had to empty all my lovely worm juice out of my worm farm to move it. I put as much as I could on the pots but didn't plan ahead to actually save some bottles for the rest of it.
A major drawback of the new garden is that I don't have a back porch like I used to so I don't have any undercover areas. I am thinking of investing in a big market umbrella for summer.
The main advantage of the new garden is an existing vegetable patch that is bare but ready to go. I want to get some fertilizer before I start planting then I am going to plan out all my summer crops. Yah!
