I'm Back

I just got back last night from the trip "up north" (but I'm still on vacation until Monday). As predicted I saw lots of interesting plants and fungi and took a ton of pictures to prove it (around 500-600). I'm working on a full detailed outline but until then here's a few quick pics.
I was surprised upon arriving home at how much my deck plants had grown in four days. They are HUGE! The tomatillos have actual fruit on them now, not the little microscopic things that were there before I left. All the tomatoes have fruit on them and we can now identify at least three black plum plants! The green zebra tomatoes look so cool. I'm really glad I found seeds. I just hope they taste good. The sunrise III fruit do indeed get to be red when ripe, but they are still a strange red with a bit of orange or salmon in them.
Sadly we have come back to some kind of construction on our street. They seem to be replacing the sidewalks. As a result part of the garden has been messed with, but I'm happy to report that the workers have been surprisingly gentle with the garden. It's too bad because I was planning to spend some time this week constructing new edging with the branches Davin garbage picked for me. It will have to wait until September unless they finish up before my vacation ends. My life is going to be chaos for the remaining of August and into September.
