I have no self control
Anyone who knows me or has been to Grrl.com, can easily confirm that I have a bit of an
obsession with eBay. I've bought Jesus Last Supper plates, velvet paintings, pulp novels, tiki mugs, spooky dolls, you name it -- all on eBay.
So it was only a matter of time that my plant addiction met up with my eBay habit. I've been buying plant books on eBay forever, but now I'm starting to buy plant seeds. In fact, last night I ended up bidding on various seeds for pitcher plants, sundews, cobra lilies, venus flytraps and other carnivorous plants.
I couldn't help it. The prices seem so low. And I really want to start growing carnivorous plants from seed. And well, how could I resist?
The only other time I bought a plant from eBay was last year when I attempted to grow a Lithops with sad results. I just hope that now that I'm in horticulture classes and actually making an effort to read about the plants I grow, I'll have a better shot with these insect-eating freaks of nature.
