okay i am being a wee bit vulgar about this, but i thought pee didnt have many uses other than aiming it into the hole in the ground.

okay, you may mutter "compost", but this totally beats it.

have a look at the link below, and shake your heads in wonder.

all hail Pee!

I don't know if it is really true, but i've heard construction workers will sometimes pee on their hands when it is really cold outside to keep them from chapping. Shocked

I can add one that did not make the list. While they did mention that Roman's had a pee tax, they failed to mention that the Romans also had a blackmarket pee drug trade.

Narcotics pass through the body in your urine. That's why they can do drug tests. Way back in the days of ancient Rome, some Roman soldiers used drugs. Then the lower class people would gather up their pee to reuse the drugs that were not matabolized by the original user. *ew*

golden glue: "Next, the mortar of urine must be exposed in the sun until it has become thick, like honey. It's now ready to spackle up your favorite golden goblet or dinner dish."

You know, I do have a favorite golden goblet that needs spackling.

So, just to bring some life to an old thread:
National Geographic just wrote an article this month about fertilizing with human urine and wood ash.
