I have two rose bushes, one that is very old and barely pulled though this year and another that is doing amazingly well. Except a few days ago I noticed that holes are appearing in the leaves and little gray lines are also showing up in the leaves. I turned a leaf over today and there was a little teeny green wormy thing (technical term) with a black head. Yuck. After a few days it's gotten way worse. Help?

Considering your location, they are probably sawfly larvae. Try an insectical soap on them. It seem to doom most soft body creatures.
