You Grow Girl™

Lake Huron Shoreline

I don't know enough about moss to even begin an identification of this one. I call it woodland moss because it is so commonly seen growing on rocks and stumps in the woods of this region. This particular moss was found growing on a piece of charred fire wood behind the cottage.

The cool thing about moss is that it multiplies by spores and just one spore can start a whole new colony.
