You Grow Girl™

Lake Huron Shoreline

We found this plant growing in a small stream during a bike ride on the last day at the cottage. The marshland supplied a whole new group of fascinating plants. I actually thought these were buttercups at first since the flowers so closely resemble them. They are actually called marsh marigold or cowslip (Caltha palustris), but are members of the Buttercup Family (Ranunculaceae).
