Seeds & Songs To Make’em Grow is music about seeds, gardens, flowers and growing. According to the cd jacket, it was created for both children and adults. The music is very mellow, mostly acoustic guitar. The lyrics are a tad bit corny for my taste and it’s hard for me to imagine the vocalist keeping a straight face while singing these songs. Unfortunately, a lot of the songs sound the same. The cd comes with a pack of wildseeds, along with a brochure of other CDs by the composer.
As a mother of two, it has been my experience that kids like silly songs with an upbeat tempo. This cd would be good to play if one was trying to calm their kids down or get them to nap, but I don’t think a child over the age of 2-1/2 would be interested in listening to this. But then again, every kid is different.
The cd is priced at $15.00. If you are interested in hearing some song samples or purchasing this cd, then go to www.songofthesirens.com. -SW
