Bougainvillea was probably the flowering plant most sighted during the course of the trip. I saw it in Oaxaca City, I saw it on the Pacific Coast. I was shocked that even in the last legs of the dry season, this plant was still in full bloom. I have a feeling that regular waterings by human hands had something to do with it. I didn't see this growing anywhere wild.
