Peas like cooler weather. Most people start in the earliest spring when the ground is first workable and then do another crop in the early fall when the heat lets up.
I have started a garden(in ground) in atlanta, i have my tomatoes and herbs in ground , is it to late to start seedling for spinach, bell peppers, and lettuce? LOVE THE BOOK IT IS MY GARDEN BIBLE!!!
Wow, that looks fantastic. Is it too late to create that now, I guess you had to start months ago?

I’ll have to wait until the fall then. We are having a really, really hot spring here in the UK. Thanks for the info!
My peas are about that size, too. I started a bushing variety this time, so they supposedly don’t require staking.
